Searching for an Automotive Shop that is convenient, skilled, and trustworthy is a challenge. They all ‘sound good’ in the commercials! I feel like I hit the trifecta with Bradham Automotive. Close by in my Alexandria neighborhood (yea). A clearly thought-out safety and maintenance check list offered at routine visits saved me some headaches-in-the-making beyond my awareness (beats waiting until I’m calling AAA from a highway shoulder!). And a no-rush, informative discussion with a mechanic to determine what recommended maintenance and repairs will be undertaken. I went in for a routine oil change. I knew my otherwise well maintained 2014 RDX Acura is nonetheless over 12 years old. The discovered additional work needed was not a surprise, and a gift…discussed, done efficiently, and the car runs great. I’m grateful. And the crew I interfaced with are nice guys. Honest and reliable! Came in because my car died after getting gas, and the first time they didn’t find anything wrong with it and said it was a fluke. Next time I got gas the same thing happened. I took my car back because this mechanic shop was so close, and the head mechanic was appalled that they didn’t take a closer look. They gave me a free diagnostic and even fixed the problem (it was a very minor fix) for free. Everyone makes mistakes. It’s unreasonable to expect perfection, but when they did mess up they owned up to it and made sure I was taken care of, which is what really matters. I will take my car back next time I have any issues or just need maintenance, and I recommend you do the same!

DJ kindly and efficiently worked on my Jeep Grand Cherokee today. He provided a concise overview of what needed service immediately as well as a few items that were recommended for maintenance – no gimmicks or inflation of reality. Bradham uses a user-friendly portal along with SMS and email notifications and consistently communicates the status of their process while they have your vehicle. I was happy with the fair pricing of materials and labor as well as the quality of the service. I’m very thankful they were able to get my Jeep serviced well and quickly to allow for same day pickup! Bradham Automotive in Old Town Alexandria has become an auto repair shop I genuinely trust and personally recommend. I have interacted with members of both the front office and the service crew, and each person has consistently offered professional, personal, and genuine kindness. What I appreciate most is how they go above and beyond with both the service of my car and the transparency of their communication. The agent walks me through what needs immediate attention and what can be planned for later. Their communication is easy and respectful. I also love the text messages that update me on the progress of the service and offer helpful heads-ups on future maintenance. The shop is clean and organized. They have stepped in to help me more than once, fitting me into a tight schedule or offering thoughtful guidance when I needed it. My experience has been easy whether I needed to drop my car off or pick it up after hours, and/or get my emissions test completed. My car has passed 150,000 miles and is still running beautifully with certainty because of the care it receives here. I am grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and consistency of everyone at Bradham. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
